Topic Work

We learned how to draw a wolf in stages, following directions from Mr Chapman. Afterwards we were given a different wolf picture which we had to copy on our own. 
In DT we did junk modelling to make a basket for Red Riding Hood. We had to think about the properties of the materials that we were using. Mr Chapman is sure our parents were really pleased when we took them home!
In our poetry we learned the Little Red Riding Hood rap. The chorus was easy to pick up, it took us a while to get used to the rhythm of the verses. As a class we performed the rap in parts and built them together to make our video of the rap. 
We have just finished our non-fiction fact files about wolves. The children worked hard to try and include cursive writing, different sentence openers, conjunctions and adjectives in each of their facts.
