Rewards, Discipline and Rules

Good manners and high standards of behaviour are expected of our children at all times.

St Paul’s is a happy school with a caring, Christian ethos and a family atmosphere. We deal with any misbehaviour with that in mind and children are shown how misbehaviour can damage our school family. We ask that parents support us in helping children to realise that they are responsible for their own behaviour and with the actions they choose to take there are consequences.

See our 'Stay on Green' Behaviour Policy

The school uses a ‘DoJo’ behaviour rewards system as well as a ‘house’ system. Children are given merits for good behaviour, working hard and looking after each other.

The core values of the school influence all that we do within our community and this is reflected in our rewards and sanctions. All pupils are expected to wear the official school uniform and are expected to be presented smartly, both in and out of school. Please note that extreme/fashion hairstyles, e.g. skinhead, mohicans etc. are not permitted.

The school does not tolerate bullying and has an Anti-Bullying Policy that gives guidance on this issue for all parties concerned. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to contact the class teacher in the first instance to discuss any concerns regarding bullying, discipline and behaviour matters.
